Perris, CA - The Perris Union High School District (PUHSD) Board of Trustees approved Dr. Jennifer Thomasian to serve as the inaugural principal of the Inland Online Academy. “Dr. Thomasian has a visionary approach to leadership that is perfectly aligned with the innovative model of Inland Online Academy,” said Superintendent Jose Araux. “Her depth of experience and strategic mindset will ensure that this new school thrives and delivers on its promise of flexible, high-quality learning.”
The Inland Online Academy, the district's new virtual school, offers both online and hybrid options, where students still have access to sports, activities, and now the Cal-GETC pathway to college.
As a current principal in the PUHSD, Thomasian has more than 20 years of experience in education. She most recently led districtwide initiatives in data-driven decision-making, safety compliance, and home-school-community communications. She served for six years as principal of Paloma Valley High School (PVHS), where she guided the school to sustained academic growth. Her leadership helped PVHS earn recognition as a California Distinguished School.
According to Thomasian, her leadership is grounded in the belief that every student deserves access to flexible, high-quality education. “I am committed to building partnerships with families and community organizations to support students,” she said.
