Welcome to the 21/22 school year! I am one of the AVID Coordinators at Heritage, and I'm so proud to be a part of our AVID National Demonstration site. This year I will be teaching all of the AVID seniors, as well as two sections of AVID freshmen. Helping the freshmen students transition to high school AVID as well as the newness of high school life, is so rewarding and fun! Navigating the senior class through the College application process is something that gives me great pride and joy. We love our AVID family at Heritage and I am so grateful and honored to be a part of it.

This will be my 18th year as a high school teacher and my 13th with the AVID program. I graduated from Cal State San Bernardino with a BA in English and completed my credential and Masters at the University of Redlands. Teaching has become one of my greatest passions in life and I am thankful for another year to get to do what I love!
