I am Mrs. Thornton and have been working at Pinacate for twenty-one years.  I grew up in the inner city of south central Los Angeles, and moved to this area upon my graduation from high school.  I graduated from Redlands University with a minor in behavior science and a bachelor's degree in environmental science. I went on to graduate from Azusa Pacific University with a master's  degree in curriculum and instruction.  I am married and have four children, and nine grandchildren, and enjoying camping, hiking, swimming, and traveling.  I enjoy being a teacher because things are always changing, and I love learning new things, especially in science where there is constant discoveries and inventions.  I look forward to working with you this school year.
