Hello, My name is Coach McCoy.  I have been teaching in the Perris Union High School for 29 years.  I have been at Paloma since 2005.  Throughout out those years I have taught World and U.S. History.  In addition, I have been a baseball and tennis coach at various levels.  I am a local in town of 22years.  Both my kids Hannah and Cody graduated from Paloma High School.  Hannah is now in college playing college tennis.  Cody finished his college baseball career, got his degree, and is now a Rescue Swimmer in the United States Navy.  My wife Shelby of 28 years is a Staffing Recruiter.  I am a graduate of San Diego State.  I also have my masters in Education.  I am proud of the Paloma tradition!  When I am not teaching or coaching you can find me either running, backpacking in the Sierras, or working out with Coach Kaas and Coach Pardue.  Check out my Canvas page.  I teach Senior Economics and Junior United States History for the 2022 -2023 school year.  The best way to reach me is at david.mccoy@puhsd.org.
