ASL Students and Families: Welcome to Liberty High School and to American Sign Language! I look forward to spending this year with you and assisting you with your educational development. In this course, we will continue to study American Sign Language and its use by Deaf people and the Deaf Community. Along with the language, we will continue to learn about Deaf Culture and gain an appreciation for culture as a whole. We will use reading materials, videos, cooperative learning activities, and long-term assignments to assist in understanding the Deaf, their language, and its growth through the years. I look forward to working with you!
