I am so excited to join Perris Union HS District and Liberty HS family and to work with all of you throughout the year. . My name is Danielle Carranza and this is my first year at Liberty HS but my 11th year in this profession. This year I will be teaching US History and College and Career Foundation. 

I was born and raised in the Coachella Valley. I grew up playing softball my entire life. I hope to one day be able to coach at Liberty. I moved to San Diego and received my AA at Grossmont Community College. I transferred to San Diego State University where I earned my BA in Social Sciences and a year later a Single Subject Teaching Credential. Even though balancing work on mom was was tough, I knew it was finally time to return back to school for to earn an MA. I found an incredible program that was not only affordable but manageable for a working mom. I am a proud to say I earned a Masters in the Arts of Teaching, MAT, from San Diego State University. 

I am a proud mother of three young boys. I am so excited to be working with you and getting to know you throughout the year.
