Accessibility Text: Hello students! I'm Mrs. Dove, your teacher for this year! I'm so excited to be back at Liberty High School! This is my fifth year teaching, and second year as Liberty's Theater Director. I started my career in the district right after graduating from UCR with my Master's in Education and teaching credential. I earned my undergrad degree at Stevenson University in Baltimore, Maryland, where I majored in English Literature and minored in Theatre.
Family is very important to me. I'm super close with my mom, and I talk to her pretty much every day. My dad and I are obsessed with the Baltimore Ravens, and I've been going to games since I was 12, it's one of the biggest things I miss about my home town. My younger brother, Sam was the officiant at my wedding and he also attended UCR's graduate program for Education and teaches high school chemistry in Victorville. My husband, CJ, is absolutely my best friend, we've known each other for twelve years and got married on Valentine's Day in 2020. On April 26th, 2022 we welcomed our daughter, Eleanor Lynn, into our family! I'm super excited to be a new mom and watch her learn and grow.
A few years ago, my family was in Las Vegas celebrating my brother's birthday. While we were there, I jumped off of the Stratosphere, from 880 feet above the ground.
I'm very passionate about theatre and when I lived in Baltimore I was on the Board at a local community theatre. I directed a play in 2016 that won an award for Best Production.
