DONNA R GOODE

World Language Teacher--Perris High School

Donna has been teaching grades 7-12 since 1998. She is a dual credentialed teacher in both Spanish and English Language Arts. She earned her B.A. from UC Riverside and spent six months studying abroad in Mexico City at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) as a part of her undergraduate studies. She continued her education and earned her M.S. in education for California Baptist University.

Donna began working in 1998 and taught for 10 years in Riverside USD. She has taught in both subject areas throughout her teaching career. Donna took a six year break from teaching and came back to the classroom in 2014. In addition to teaching, Donna is a world traveler. She loves sharing the experience of study abroad with her students. She just returned from taking students to Cuba in summer of 2017 and took another group of students to Spain and France in 2019. Currently, she has a tour schedule for next summer with a group of over 40 students to travel to London, Paris, Florence, and Rome.

I use Google Classroom as the learning management system for Spanish 1, 2, and Honors 3.
