Hello Everyone! Welcome to Liberty High School!

My name is Luis Rubio and I am a special education teacher and case carrier at Liberty High School. I graduated from Heritage High School back in 2012, and I am lucky to still be a part of the district. This is my second year teaching, but I started out as an AVID tutor at Paloma Valley High School in 2016, and worked as a substitute teacher from 2017-2021. 

I received my Bachelor's degree from California State University San Marcos in Spanish in 2017, and recently received my Master's in Learning & Technology from Azusa Pacific University. I am the first in my family to receive both a Bachelor's and Master's degree. 

Personally, I enjoy traveling with my wife, going to rock concerts, and watching the latest Marvel movie!

This year I will be teaching Spanish Language Essentials, SAI English 3, and Study Skills. I am excited to work with students and help them find their true potential as they prepare to enter the "real world" outside of high school.
