Bring your safety glasses to Marksmanship.
WELCOME!!! The 2013-2014 school year is officially underway as CMI celebrates its’ 10th Anniversary! Classes started on August 14, 2013 with our largest enrollment ever: 1127 student –cadets on two uniquely different paths.
The Military Path is the traditional CMI program with cadets engaged in a rigorous program of academics and military science requiring the wearing of a military-style uniform every day. 920 cadets in grades 5-12 have gotten off to a great start!
The Technology Path is new to CMI and provides 207 students with the opportunity to take online courses with a combination of real-time instruction, recorded lessons and face-to-face time with teachers. This is a highly flexible program that meets the needs of many.
Even though there are two paths, we are still one school. Cadets on the Military Path and students on the Technology Path are free to participate in the whole range of extra-curricular activities and sports that are available here at CMI. These activities currently include participation on the football team, cross-country team, volleyball team, cheer and dance teams and a wide range of clubs. Regardless of path chosen, all student-cadets are encouraged to participate.
On August 30th, CMI celebrated our 10th anniversary with a Pass in Review and reception. The reviewing party for this event consisted of Mr. Joseph Sweeney, Civilian Aide to the Secretary of the Army (Northern California) and Brigadier General James Gabrielli, Commander of the California National Guard Youth and Community Task Force. The event was very motivating as every cadet and staff member who participated in the event received a commemorative challenge coin. We are now ready to tackle the next ten years!!
