Hey AP'ers! These were your instructions in class:
•You are to select either a Baroque:
•Painting
•You must have the paintingdisplayed on the screen Either via PowerPoint or send me the link to the piece to display via email)
•Piece of Music
•You must be able to play the music (send me the YouTube link or other means with which you willhave it played for the class via email)
•You will present it to the classand thoroughly describe its Baroque influence, who the artist is, where theyare from (region) and know how the region influences the piece you chose
•You cannot use a piece of art shownin class or Toccata and Fugue
YOU CANNOT HAVE THE SAME PIECE AS ANOTHER STUDENT...so this is where the BLOG comes in...
To ensure that you are not presenting the same material as another student, you must post here what your choice is. Once a choice is posted here, it cannot be selected by another student...so FIRST COME FIRST SERVE. Find that what you wanted to present is already chosen by anotehr student? Well, back to work locating another piece that you are comfortable with. You can also post questions here for me that I will answer.
This blog will be up and running on FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 3, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. to post discussions about what we are learning. I will post a question related to our current course of study, and you may log-in to post your comments. Posting comments, not only to me, but to others in your class, will earn you points! It is also a great way to keep fresh what you are learning. Posts must be relevant to the discussion posed by me, not be just opinion (unless called for), and need to be indicative of what you have learned in class or you have researched to earn credit.
