PUHSD Mission Statement
The mission of the Perris Union High School District is to provide quality educational programs and meaningful opportunities which encompass the intellectual, social, emotional, and physical aspects of all students within the district and which will enable them to become productive members of society.
The District has engaged its staff and community members for the past 12 months in the planning and design of a second middle school within the Perris Elementary area of the District. The significant progress that has been achieved on this project has been made possible, in large part, because of the community’s passage of Measure T in 2012. A 24 acre site has been acquired located within the City of Perris directly south of Skyview Elementary School and directly west of Patriot Park.
The District has comprehensively and diligently worked over the past several years in the planning and design of its High School #4 project. An approximate 52 acre site has been acquired for this school and is located at the northwest corner of Wickerd and Leon Roads just east of the City of Menifee.
PUHSD is honored to have three recipients of Riverside County’s 2015 Employees of the Year. PUHSD Superintendent, Dr. Jonathan Greenberg said, “To have two recipients at one school site is quite rare, but to have three recipients in one school district is historical.”
PUHSD's instructional technology 1:1 initiative will equip all students with a Chromebook computing device and teachers with iPads and other technology to create an engaging and immersive learning environment during the 2013-2014 school year.
