Welcome to Advanced English I and Intro to Psychology at Heritage High School - Home of the Patriots! A little blurb about Ms. Ranzieri: I have been teaching English (all high school levels) for 16 years. This is my 8th year with the Perris Union High School District. I am originally from Sacramento, CA. (Sorry not a Laker fan!) I am fully credentialed in Health Science, Psychology and English. In addition, I have a Masters Degree in Cross Cultural Education. I also taught ESL at the Extenstion Program at MSJC for a period of time. I spent years living and attending college in London, England. A place I call my home away from home. I have traveled all over Europe, Africa, United States, Central America and beyond. Traveling is definitely one of my major passions in life, and of course, my beautiful family! We Need Each Other: The most important aspect of my Teaching Philosophy is parent involvement. This means if you have any questions, concerns or confusion, please feel free to contact me anytime. Email is the best way for me to get back to you in a timely manner. I am very teacher-parent friendly. I absolutely believe it takes a village to raise a child. We can't do it alone, but we certainly can do our best to meet your child's needs together. I realize most everyone works, plus has other commitments; therefore, I am very flexible scheduling parent-teacher conferences. We can communicate during my prep time, which is 12:44 to 1:42; the conference can take place via phone, if that is comfortable for you. As I said, I am flexible!
