Welcome to English Language Arts 8! I am Mr. De Vicente and it is my pleasure to help guide students through the California state standards grade level 8. This is my sixth year with PUHSD and my fifth year at Pinacate Middle School. Students will need to have basic tools for success as well as high academic expectations in order to be successful. Success in English Language Arts in middle school will provide the necessary foundation for English I, II, III, and IV at the high school level.
I am a father of two awesome kids and have been married for 18 years. This is my second career, I spent fifteen years in the private sector. I currently hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, a Single Subject K-12 Teaching Credential/English from Chapman University, and a Master of Arts in Education in Educational Administration.
Please contact me through email or at the number below if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you for supporting your students!
