The Work Experience Program instructs and guides students how to get a job, prepare students for current and future career goals, resume and cover letter writing, and all other aspects of work experience. However, STUDENTS are responsible for getting their own jobs, going to interviews, applying for internships, seeking out employment and all other matters pertaining to employment. If you need to contact me, I will be in Room D-101, located at the far end of the "D" building, closest to the faculty parking lot. I will usually be in D-101 during BOTH lunch periods on Tuesdays and Thursday. You may check to see if I am in after school, but the better method is to make an appointment with me. Also, please be sure to have a separate binder with plastic sleeves for each page of your Work Experience Portfolio. Please bring your binder to class everyday to keep track of work, notes, new assignments, and other information. Have a pencil, pen, sharpener, eraser, and paper ready for class each day as well.
The Work Experience class is held every Wednesday at 6:30 am in the Theater. Also, if you wish an Internship, this is the class to be in for that experience.
