I am extremely excited and privileged to teach your son or daughter this upcoming year.  I hope they have not just an outstanding year of academic success in my class, but also continue to grow as a person in this ever changing world.

I want the students to understand how math connects to the real world and why it is a content area that is very relevant to their current and future lives.
